Just what I was looking for and very reasonable, as well. The lamps are solid and sturdy, not flimsy at all. The shades are very rich looking, too!

This lovely floor lamp was "made to order" for our family room. The reason that I made the decision to change to pull chain lamps throughout our home is the three-way bulbs are not reliable -- they do not last long, and when one degree of light goes, the bulb is almost usless. By using pull chain lamps, one can use a 100 watt bulb or less and have very excellent lighting with bulbs lasting much longer. The quality of this lovely lamp is excellent. It is a nice heavy brass, just the right patina, and the shade is a very nice quality and the fabric is not too dark nor too light. One by one, I expect to change out each lamp in my home to all pull chain lamps, no more three-way or single sockets.
