I purchased this lamp because I wanted a desk lamp that has a long arm and a narrow profile. This is a very nice light that has a heavy stable base and the quality/finish is excellent. I believe it is made in the USA.

The only minor concerns I would relate is that the LED lights are not as bright as most halogen or incandescent desk lights. It does work for my application where I keep my office very dark otherwise. Also, the light itself is a very white LED color, not a softer yellow. I don't know the Kelvin value but some may desire a softer, more incandescent-like color. The long life of LEDs makes this a great long-term purchase.
